Participants of all ages are encouraged to lace up their running shoes and take part in this meaningful event, where proceeds will support the placement of wreaths on the headstones of over 3,000 veterans in local cemeteries, including Eastside and Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunset and Sunrise in Dresden, Woodlawn in Sharon, Beulah and Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City, and Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton, KY.

Wreaths Across America's mission is to remember to Fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom. The annual event takes place on December 14, 2024 this year. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds gather to place wreaths of the headstones of veterans and say their names out loud. Proceeds raised at this event help provide wreaths for over 3,000 Veterans in these area cemeteries: Eastside and Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, Martin; Sunset and Sunrise, Dresden; Woodlawn, Sharon; Beulah and Obion County Memorial Gardens, Union City, and Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Fulton, Ky.
