Join us for the 16th Annual Run for Your Lungs on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the beautiful Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele, Crisp, Georgia! This inspiring event raises vital awareness for lung cancer, one of the deadliest forms of cancer, and supports our local community through our dedicated 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Participants can look forward to a fun-filled day with race distances designed for everyone. Each runner will receive a fantastic long sleeve T-shirt, a goody bag, and enjoy a delicious lunch with beverages, including beer for those 21 and up, after the race!
Don't miss the opportunity to pick up your race packet ahead of time on Thursday, November 5, at Austins Fire Grill in Albany or on Friday, November 6, at Cypress Grill. Both locations will offer a chance to mingle with fellow participants and enjoy a great meal. Organiser's Description
16th Annual RUN for your LUNGS! Jackie's Run for Life @ Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele GA! This is a Clover & Black Bag Event, and raises awareness for the deadliest cancer of all cancers, Lung Cancer. We are our own 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping folks in our area struggling with the disease. Each participant receives a GREAT long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, lunch & beverages (beer for 21 & up!!) after the run!!! Thursday Nov 5th Packet Pick up will be at Austins Fire Grill on Old Dawson Road in Albany from 4-6 PM, Friday Nov 6th @ Cypress Grill from 4-6 PM at Cypress Gill and you can also get your packet on Saturday morning Nov 1st. Friday night Cypress will be open for folks to have dinner & drinks, their menu may be normal or limited to certain food items. It is an incredible time for a great cause!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT CROSS THE 5K FINISH LINE if you are signed up for the 1 mile walk!! This is NOT a timed event, the bibs do not have a digital chip timing and there are NOT prizes for the 1 mile. The route for the 1 mile basically goes around the resort and it STOPS at the concrete walkway going from Cypress Grill to the Marina -
