Join us on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, for the 14th Annual RUN for your LUNGS! Jackie's Run for Life event at Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele, GA. Organized by Clover & Black Bag Events, this race raises awareness for lung cancer, the deadliest of all cancers. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, the event is dedicated to helping those in the area who are struggling with the disease. Participants will receive a fantastic long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, lunch, and beverages (including beer for those 21 and up) after the run. Packet pick-up will be available on Wednesday, October 30th at Austins Fire Grill in Albany, Friday, November 1st at Cypress Grill, and on Saturday morning, November 2nd. Enjoy a pre-party kick-off on Friday night at Cypress Grill with dinner, drinks, and live music from Thomas Merritt. Don't miss out on this incredible weekend event for a great cause!
Organiser's Description
14th Annual RUN for your LUNGS! Jackie's Run for Life @ Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele GA! This is a Clover & Black Bag Event, and raises awareness for the deadliest cancer of all cancers, Lung Cancer. We are our own 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping folks in our area struggling with the disease. Each participant receives a GREAT long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, lunch & beverages (beer for 21 & up!!) after the run!!! Wednesday 10/30 Packet Pick up will be at Austins Fire Grill on Old Dawson Road in Albany from 4-6 PM, Friday Nov 1st @ Cypress Grill from 4-6 PM; Cypress Gill and you can also get your packet on Saturday morning Nov 2nd. Friday night Cypress will be open for folks to have dinner & drinks, their menu may be normal or limited to certain food items and we will have Thomas Merritt singing acoustic for our Pre-party kick off. .. It is an incredible weekend time for a great cause!!!!

PLEASE DO NOT CROSS THE 5K FINISH LINE if you are signed up for the 1 mile walk!! This is NOT a timed event, the bibs do not have a digital chip timing and there are NOT prizes for the 1 mile. The route for the 1 mile basically goes around the resort and it STOPS at the concrete walkway going from Cypress Grill to the Marina -
