Your participation ensures that deserving young runners can access essential gear, such as running shoes and spikes, enabling them to excel in cross country and track & field. Bib pickup will take place from 7:45 to 8:45 AM on race day, with both races kicking off at 9 AM. The Gear Grants Run features 5K and 10-mile race distances as well as an add-on pancake breakfast afterward. All funds go to support the Run Hub Gear Grants [https://runhubnw.com/run-hub-gear-grants/] program. Run Hub Gear Grants is a 501c3 non-profit that provides grants to Eugene-Springfield area school athletes in need participating in cross country during the fall or track & field in the spring. The grants allow recipients to purchase essential running/training gear like running shoes and competition spikes or footwear for the season. Bib pickup is from 7:45-8:45 AM on race day. Both races begin at 9 AM.
Thanks to our sponsors, all ticket proceeds will go directly to fund gear grants for local student athletes. Event sponsors include: ASICS, Kiva Grocery, Krusteaz, Palace Coffee | Bakery, Rowell Brokaw Architects & Zenith Performance & Wellness.
