Organiser's Description
Neuroworx is an outpatient rehabilitation clinic for persons who have suffered a spinal cord injury, brain injury, or other life altering neurological disorder/disease. The purpose of the Run, Ride, Roll event is to allow an inclusive space for our past and current patients as well as others in our community to work toward a goal and participate in an event in a wheelchair, adaptive bike, or walking/running. Funds raised by participation will go directly toward providing funds for our grant fund (Supporting Opportunities for Adaptive Recreation Grant) to provide adaptive equipment to those wishing to get back outside after a life altering injury/ diagnosis.
The event will begin and end at the Dr. O. Roi Hardy Park. This will be a 5K event with the course entirely on the Jordan River Trail. The course will be a circle format and cross over two bridges. It will first head North on the East side of the trail and will cross over a bridge to come back South on the West side of the trail.

This will be an out and back event. It will start at Dr. O Roi Hardy Park and head East then immediately North on the Jordan River Trail. You will hit an aide station with a Turn Around sign and head back toward the Start line. This is open to runners/walkers, hand cycles, push bikes, or wheelchairs. -
5K Bike

This is a 5K event for hand cycles, recumbent bikes, or 2 wheeled bikes. It will take place on the main 5K loop which will head North on the West side of the Jordan River Trail and cross a bridge after 1.5 miles to the East side of the trail and head South back to the Start line. the course will be clearly marked with aide stations at 1.5 miles and 2.5 miles. -

No dogs please. Service dogs only. -
