Event summary
The course features a scenic route through the Cumming Fairgrounds, crossing Castleberry Road and winding back for a thrilling downhill finish. Prizes will be awarded for overall winners, age group champions, and the best costume, so don your holiday attire for a chance to win! Don’t forget, race day packet pickup begins at 7:00 AM, along with plenty of on-site restrooms for your convenience. Join us in spreading holiday cheer while getting active—it's a win-win for everyone!
Organiser's Description
This challenging course could be your next PR and 2024 Peachtree Road Race qualifier!
RACE START TIMES:
5K - 8:30am
1 Mile Fun Run - 9:30am
COST:
5K - must bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $25 or more in order to receive your bib and tshirt at packet pickup.
Fun Run - 1 Mile run that stays in fairgrounds. Must bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $25 or more in order to receive your bib and Tshirt at packet pickup.
GHOST RUNNER - must bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more in order to receive Tshirt at packet pickup.
PACKET PICKUP:
You may pick up your bib on race day, Saturday, December 14th starting at 7:00am, At the Cumming Fairgrounds inside gate B at 235 Castleberry Road Cumming, GA 30040.
AWARDS:
Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female and Top 3 Male/Female in each age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and Up AND BEST COSTUME - SANTA and MRS CLAUS
COURSE:
The course runs within the Cumming Fairgrounds then crosses over Castleberry on the pedestrian bridge onto Castleberry Road. The course then does an out and back on Castleberry Industrial Drive and winds its way back through the fairgrounds to a downhill finish.
T-SHIRTS:
All participants registered by Tuesday, December 3rd will receive a race t-shirt. Registrations on or after Wednesday, December4th will be subject to availability of shirts and will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
