This year, there's an inspiring twist: every mile you log will contribute to a greater cause. For every 100 miles logged, $100 will be donated to the Community Food Pantry, aiding local families through essential food programs. Organiser's Description
The Spartan Foundation supports everything SPARTAN. We truly believe it takes a village and, in our case, it takes several. We call this group of Spartan supporting villages: Spartan Nation. Spartan Nation spans nearly 25 miles. In an effort to keep Spartan Nation happy, healthy, and on the move; we are challenging you to Run the Nation this summer! Run the Nation participants will be required to log 25 miles of walking, running or both in each of the months of May, June, July, and August. These miles can be done on your own or with a friend. They can be done on your own time. You can run or walk anywhere you would like. Just log your miles on your Run the Nation log sheet. THIS YEAR PARTICIPANTS WILL BE PLEDGING THEIR MILES TO THE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY. 100 MILES = $100 TO OUR PROGRAM. THE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY IS ORGANIZED BY THE SPARTAN FOUNDATION. IT SERVES OUR COMMUNITES THROUGH A MONTHLY FOOD BANK AND THE WEEKEND BACKPACK PROGRAM.
