Organiser's Description
Run the Race 5K is a Christian Fun Run & Walk designed to facilitate fellowship and promote fitness. The proceeds from this family friendly race will help to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Runners and walkers of all skill levels and ages are encouraged to participate.
All participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, free raffle entry, and free samples.
Chip timing & age group awards! 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place awards for all age groups and overall winners.
All children and adults registered for the 5K are entered into the raffle!
In addition to the race, there will be a FREE KIDS RACE after the 5K, pre-race motivational prayer, in-race motivational posters, and Zumba warmup! We are committed to merging faith and fitness because we know that, "All things are possible through Christ!"
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
The race course is beautiful and scenic gem hidden in Altamonte Springs. This course is a fast, flat, and paved on shaded trail with a test of will at the end.

Canned Food Donations for Second Harvest Food Bank: Our charity partner, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, will be accepting canned food donations for their food pantry. Any non-perishable donations would be greatly appreciated. Please take all donations to the registration area.
