Run to the Rescue is a Junior Leadership Northeast project partnering with Griffin Pond. Our mission is to address the welfare of shelter animals by raising awareness, providing resources, and promoting adoption and volunteering to improve their conditions in NEPA.

The 5k takes place through the Forty Fort Borough Sports Complex on a mix of field grass and pavement. Participants will run the perimeter of the soccer and baseball fields as well as a portion of the Luzerne County Levee Trail along the Susquehanna River. -
