We race to make a difference and honor a life well lived. The CPT. ALAN KURRE ELLIOTT MEMORIAL RUN is more than just a race; it is a tribute to a remarkable person, and an opportunity to give back. All proceeds will fund the CPT. Alan Kurre Elliott Memorial Student Award for undergraduate students in the Kinesiology Department at the University of Kentucky who embody Alans outstanding character. (Read more below)

A chip timed 5K run/walk on paved surfaces at Coldstream Park. Awards will be presented for Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in 10-year age divisions. Walkers, strollers and well behaved dogs on fixed length leashes are welcomed. -
10K Run

A chip timed 10K run on paved surfaces at Coldstream Park. Awards will be presented for Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in 10-year age divisions. This is a "runners only" event. Those wishing to walk should select the 5K run/walk or 1 Mile Walk. The course will be a double out and back of the 5K route. -
1 Mile Fun Walk

For a $30 donation we'll ship you your commemorative race T-shirt and you can run/walk your Run White & Blue 5K in your hometown on your own schedule. There are no awards for the virtual event but you can (optional) log your results or completion of your 5K on the race website. -

We need 6-8 volunteers to work a 3.5-hour shift on race day to make this race a success. You'll earn a commemorative race T-shirt by volunteering.
