Run Wild for the Cape May County Zoo

Sturdy Savings Bank presents the second year of Run Wild for the Cape May County Zoo - This 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk will take runners and walkers through the world famous Zoo. Theyre opening the gates early and letting us in to RUN WILD and bid the animals good morning!

6:30 - Check-in and Day Of Registration Opens
7:45 - Day Of Registration closes (RUN WALK)
8:00 - 1M Walk Begins
8:10 - 5K Run Begins
9:00 - Kids Races
9:30 - Awards
*Pre- race packet pickup will be available April 22nd at the Cape May County Earth Day Fair at Cape May Park Zoo 10:00 am - 3:00 pm*
- There will be a FREE 200 Yard Dash for kids 8 under and a 1/4 Mile Dash for kids 12 under following the 5K run. Kids do not need to pre-registered - just show up and run!
- Strollers are allowed in this race. No pets
*register by April 5th to be guaranteed a race shirt

Cape May County Zoological Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit NJ corporation, is the official Support Organization of the Cape May County Park Zoo. Since 1986 the Society has continuously provided the private sector funding needed to develop new exhibits, improve facilities, purchase zoo equipment and make acquisitions for the animal collection. The Society makes significant contributions to conservation and endeavors to encourage the communitys interest and enjoyment of the Zoo.
Family Promise of Cape May County was established in May of 2009, as a program designed to help families who are experiencing homelessness. We are a non-traditional sheltering program that only accepts families with children. A network of faith based organizations and over 1,000 volunteers provide temporary housing and meals for up to 3 families at a time. Family  Promise of Cape May County works with homeless families and tailors  individualized plans that will help them take the necessary steps toward  lasting independence
