The first 20 finishers in the 5k will receive medals, and participants can also pre-order exclusive event t-shirts, with proceeds benefiting the Children's Hospital of Michigan's pediatric cardiology unit. Run. Walk. Honor. Join us as we remember our sister Ryan Marie Szymanski who passed away from congenital heart defects in July 2006. She is our reason for all that we do and we invite you to celebrate your reason and loved ones with us.

All proceeds will go to Childrens Hospital of Michigan pediatric cardiology unit where Ryan was treated. Donations are greatly appreciated, please make checks payable to United Way-Run United or donate through this page. _All race costs are incurred by the Szymanski family to support the vision of our race and make the greatest impact._
