On Saturday, July 18th, 2026, join us in the beautiful town of Stanford, McLean, for a fun-filled 5K Run/Walk that supports the talented Olympia Bass Fishing Team. This exciting event not only promotes fitness but also helps to fund tournament fees and equipment for our young anglers, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship among our youth.
After crossing the finish line, stick around for the vibrant Stanford Good Old Days Festival, where you can enjoy delicious food, browse craft vendors, and groove to live music in the park. The festivities also include a parade, car show, pool games, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a thrilling foam party! Don’t miss the spectacular grand fireworks display to cap off the evening. Be sure to check in at 6 AM on race day, and remember that participants who register by June 30th are guaranteed a race shirt. Join us for a day of fun, community, and support for our young anglers!

Organiser's Description
We hope you will join us for our 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk event supporting the Olympia Bass Fishing Team! Our youth fishing team travels all over the state competing in tournaments in the Fall and Spring. We are dedicated to teaching our young anglers the joys of fishing and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. Your support will help with tournament fees, travel expenses, and equipment needs.
Following the race, be sure to stick around and enjoy the rest of Stanfords Good Old Days Festival.
Festival activities include: food/ craft vendors and live music at the park, parade, car show, pool games, pony rides, petting zoo, and foam party. The evening will conclude with a grand fireworks display. Full schedule and details about the festival can be found on their Facebook page.
