PACKET PICKUP HAS MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION:
ARCTIC CORNER ICE CREAM SHOP 314 E. CESAR E. CHAVEZ AVE. LANSING, MICHIGAN 48912 LOCATED IN LANSING'S OLD TOWN DISTRICT. WE WILL BE UNDER A CANOPY BY THE GARAGE IN THE PARKING LOT NEXT SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2023, FROM 4:00PM TO 7:00PM.
Cafecito Caliente will once again kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, just a little early this year. Join us for the 3rd Annual Running La Vida Loca 5k and the final leg to our Running La Vida Loca Race Series Sunday, September 11, 2023. With our usual great looking shirt that you will wear year-round, and a customized medal, why not run the La Vida Loca with us!
In the United States we recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States beginning September 15th through October 15th. Cafecito Caliente has been hosting events since 2010 and we look forward to Running La Vida Loca!
With each event that Cafecito promotes, we choose an organization to "Give Back" to. Check back and we will announce later this year as to who that organization will be!
Cost: We are going to keep the fee at $30 with no increase.
Awards: Age groups 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Playmakers gift certificates will be awarded to the top three places in each age group and also for overall male & female winner.
