The race will kick off at the Dudley Road entrance of the stunning new Kilgore Creekside Trail, offering participants a fast and scenic course that is perfect for runners and walkers alike.
The festivities begin early with packet pickup at 7:00 am, followed by the Kids 1K race at 8:00 am, ensuring that young athletes from grades 3-5 can join in on the fun! The main 5K race will start at 8:40 am, followed by an awards ceremony at 10:00 am, where prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners of the kids' race. With an amazing DJ, cheering students, and a lively atmosphere, the Running with the Dogs 5K promises a barking good time for everyone. Don’t forget, bring your energy, but please leave your pets

The Running with the Dogs 5K Fun Run and Creekside Party promises a barking good time an amazing DJ and more! Runners (and walkers!) from East Texas and beyond will enjoy a fast course that starts and ends on the Dudley Road entrance of the new Kilgore Creekside Trail. Be ready to see your favorite students and athletes cheering you on along the route.
Don't forget about the 1K for kids age 3-5th grade. Parents can watch the entire course! Prizes given for winners!
