Run first, mascot breakfast after! The Youth Fun Run takes place on Saturday, February 21st at 9:00 am from Rick Marcotte Central School [https://central.sbschools.net/]. The course is out-and-back along Market Street in South Burlingtons City Center, with 1/2 -mile and 1-mile options. After the run, kids can warm up inside the school and hang out with Vermonts biggest mascot celebrities at the Mascot Breakfast, put on by South Burlington Recreation and Parks [https://www.southburlingtonvt.gov/160/Recreation-Parks].
Registration (online or in person) is required to participate, check-in starts at 8:15 AM, and the Fun Run (both distances) begins promptly at 9:00 AM.
Course Info: The course is an out-and-back with a 1/2 mile and 1 mile option on paved and groomed sidewalks. Participants will be within view of a course monitor for the entirety of the run. Start and Finish is at the main entrance of the Rick Marcotte Central School. Parents/guardians may accompany a participant but must start from the back of the pack.
