Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Runway 5K on Saturday, September 13th, 2025! This exciting race will take place at the Gastonia Municipal Airport in Gastonia, North Carolina, and supports the Gaston County Sheriffs Office Cadet Program. Runners of all ages are invited to participate in this USTF certified 5K course, which kicks off at 7:30 AM sharp. With race day sign-ups available from 6 AM to 7 AM, you can easily join in on the fun!
Participants can choose to register for $30 with a race shirt or save $5 by selecting the no-shirt option. Every runner will receive a coveted finisher medal, with special awards for the top overall male and female finishers, as well as age group prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in categories ranging from 14 and under to 70+. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on Friday, September 12th, from 7 AM to 6 PM. Join us for an exhilarating day of community spirit, fitness, and fun at the Runway 5K!
