The festivities kick off with the Kid's Races at 5:30 PM, followed by the 1 Miler at 6:00 PM, and the main event, the 5K race, starting at 6:05 PM—all set in beautiful Hinman Park near the pavilion shelter.
Participants can look forward to a scenic course along paved trails and roads, making it accessible for everyone, including those with running strollers. Race day registration is available, but be sure to arrive around 5:00 PM with cash in hand! All finishers will receive a delightful "swag bag" filled with locally-donated goodies, and race refreshments will be provided. Organiser's Description
The Rustic Run takes place in scenic Glenwood City, WI during our annual town festival weekend of Rustic Lore Days! The Kid's Races start at 5:30 PM, the 1 Miler race starts at 6:00 PM, and the 5K race starts at 6:05 PM - all in Hinman Park, near the pavilion shelter. Registration is available on race day - please arrive around 5:00 PM for race day registration (CASH ONLY accepted on race day).
These races are for all types of runners, joggers, and walkers. The 5K & 1 Miler will be on paved trail and paved roads. The Kid's Race will take place in a grassy area around the playground. Running strollers are welcome, but please NO PETS.
There will be race refreshments for all participants at the end of the race! All participants will receive a great "swag bag" of locally-donated goodies! Rustic Run trucker hats will be available for purchase on race day. Rustic Run t-shirts will be available for order when you register online. T-SHIRT ORDERS WILL BE CLOSED ON AUG. 31ST. Rustic Run Kids Race: - Starting at Hinman Park Shelter kids will run around the Hinman Park Playground and stay in the grassy area, then finish by the shelter. Kids Race is a loop course. - The race will be held in 2 Heats - Heat 1: Ages 3-6 years old = 200 meters (1 lap around Hinman Playground) - Heat 2: Ages 7-10 years old = 400 meters (2 laps around Hinman Playground)
