Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the 14th Annual Donut Dash 5K, happening on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the charming town of Thibodaux, Lafourche. This unique race offers participants the choice of a traditional 5K or the exhilarating 5K Donut Dash, where runners will tackle a delicious twist at the halfway mark by consuming four donuts before continuing on their journey! The event kicks off at 8:30 AM, with a pre-race warm-up at 8:15 AM at the Rec Center on the beautiful campus of Nicholls State University.
Not only will you enjoy a fantastic race, but you'll also be contributing to a great cause, as 50% of the proceeds will benefit the Schriever Lions Club and 50% will support the Thibodaux Lions Club. With registration fees at just $25 for both race options, don’t miss your chance to join in on the fun, camaraderie, and community spirit. Early birds can secure a race shirt by registering before March 28th, and participants can pick up their packets starting at 7:30 AM on race day. Awards will be presented to the top

THE ANNUAL DONUT DASH IS A 5K AND A 5K DONUT DASH WITH 50% OF PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE SCHRIEVER LIONS CLUB AND 50% OF PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE THIBODAUX LIONS CLUB. THE RACE BEGINS AND ENDS AT THE REC CENTER ON THE CAMPUS OF NICHOLLS STATE UNIVERSITY.
