This exciting event kicks off at 8:30 AM at the Rec Center on the campus of Nicholls State University, with a pre-race warmup starting at 8:15 AM. Participants can choose between a standard 5K run or the unique 5K Donut Dash, where racers will have to eat four delicious donuts at the halfway mark before continuing on their journey. This year, half of the proceeds will benefit the Schriever Lions Club and the other half will support the Thibodaux Lions Club, making it a great way to enjoy fitness while giving back to the community. Registration is just $25 for both race options, but be sure to sign up before March 28th to guarantee your event shirt! THE ANNUAL DONUT DASH IS A 5K AND A 5K DONUT DASH WITH 50% OF PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE SCHRIEVER LIONS CLUB AND 50% OF PROCEEDS BENEFITING THE THIBODAUX LIONS CLUB. THE RACE BEGINS AND ENDS AT THE REC CENTER ON THE CAMPUS OF NICHOLLS STATE UNIVERSITY.
THE RACE BEGINS AT 8:30 AM WITH A PRE-RACE WARMUP AT 8:15 AM.
FOR THE 5K DONUT DASH, WHEN YOU GET TO THE HALFWAY MARK (1.55 MILES) YOU WILL HAVE TO EAT 4 DONUTS BEFORE YOU CAN CONTINUE ON.
DONATIONS:
