On Saturday, March 15, 2025, St. Petersburg's beautiful North Beach at Fort De Soto Park will come alive with the energy of hundreds of runners and walkers. This scenic coastal race offers something for everyone, featuring a 5K, 10K, and even a 1-mile kids race, along with a 1-mile fun run/walk.
Not only will participants enjoy a fantastic day of racing, but they will also play a vital role in empowering local students through the Rotary Club's "Rotary Gives Backpacks" program, which provides essential school supplies to underprivileged children in the community. Every runner will receive a bib, a stylish Salty Sands t-shirt, and a participant medal, ensuring that everyone leaves with a sense of accomplishment. Join us for a morning filled with camaraderie, competition, and the spirit of giving back!

IMAGINE THE THRILL OF HUNDREDS OF RUNNERS AND WALKERS TAKING OFF ON A SCENIC COASTAL COURSE, UNITED BY A MISSION TO EMPOWER THE NEXT GENERATION. THAT'S THE MAGIC OF THE 3RD ANNUAL SALTY SANDS RUN/WALK, TAKING PLACE ON APRIL 20TH AT NORTH BEACH IN FORT DESOTO PARK.
THIS YEAR, WE'RE NOT JUST RACING FOR THE FINISH LINE WE'RE FUELING BRIGHTER FUTURES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED ST. PETERSBURG STUDENTS. YOUR PARTICIPATION WILL DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE ROTARY CLUB'S "ROTARY GIVES BACKPACKS" PROGRAM, PROVIDING ESSENTIAL BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND LIGHTING THE PATH TO SUCCESS FOR LOCAL CHILDREN.
PARTICIPANTS CAN CHOOSE FROM A 5K, 10K, 1 MILE KIDS RACE AND 1 MILE FUN/RUN WALK, SO THERE IS A DISTANCE FOR EVERYONE AND EVERY ABILITY. RACERS IN THE 5K, 10K AND 1 MILE KIDS RACE WILL RECEIVE A BIB, SALTY SANDS T-SHIRT AND A PARTICIPANT MEDAL, WHILE THE 1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT.
