We are hereby declaring June 7th as "San Antonio Running Day"! Join us for the SAN ANTONIO RUN DAY 5K, a celebration of our local running community! Held in the heart of San Antonio at McAllister Park [https://maps.app.goo.gl/YQvZkGALqGJncAk76] (Pavilion #2), this race brings runners of all levels together to embrace the joy of running and the spirit of unity.

As a continuation of the energy from Global Run Day on June 4th, the San Antonio Run Day 5K is more than just a raceit's a tribute to the runners, running groups, and fitness enthusiasts that make our city thrive. Whether you're a seasoned runner or taking your first steps, this event welcomes everyone to lace up and share in the passion for running.

The course will be marked with white chalk and signage. There will be one water stop on the course that runners will pass at mile 1 and 2, supported by our amazing charity partner, Street2Feet!

ELITE DIVISION: The Elite 5k will be comprised of competitive runners who want to race for a big prize and be crowned the fastest in San Antonio! If you are a male planning to complete the 5k in under 20 minutes or a female in under 23 minutes, this is for you! The pace will be fast and the competition will be tight! Overall male/female winners will receive a kit from New Balance (high performance singlet and shorts)

We are proud to name Street2Feet [http://www.street2feet.org/] as our beneficiary! Street2Feet implements movement, community, and service as medicine with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder and/or mental health. They are a 6-day-a-week program providing walking/running, yoga, Qigong, nutrition education, & other forms of holistic wellness. Street2Feet aims to remove the barriers to wellness by providing accessible wellness opportunities and provides the athletic gear so that participants can comfortably and confidently engage in movement.

PACKET PICK UP:

IRUN BROADWAY on Thursday, June 5th, from 12pm-6:45pm and Friday, June 6th, from 10am-4pm.

RACE SITE (MCALLISTER PARK PAVILION #2) on race day from 6:15am-7:15am.
