Get ready for an exhilarating weekend of running and community at the 4th Annual Santa Fe International Half Marathon, taking place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in the scenic and culturally rich city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. This exciting event features a variety of race options for participants of all ages and skill levels, including the challenging 13.1-mile Half Marathon, a fun 2.48-mile 4K Run, and a Kids Run for children ages 3 to 14. The Half Marathon starts at La Tienda Plaza in Eldorado and winds through the picturesque Old Las Vegas Highway, finishing at the vibrant Railyard, where runners can soak in stunning views of historic landmarks.
The weekend kicks off with a Health and Wellness Expo from September 19-20, featuring product demonstrations, nutrition tips, and exclusive deals to help you gear up for race day. In addition, children can participate in a free indigo art workshop led by renowned artist Gasali Adeyemo, where they can create their own custom race-themed T-shirts. Capitol Ford presents the fourth annual Santa Fe International Half Marathon. This event welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, whether you're looking for a personal best, trying out a new challenge, or bringing your family for a fun day.
It's also an opportunity for community members, health enthusiasts, and visitors to get together, learn about Santa Fe's vibrant culture, and make a difference.

RACE OPTIONS:
Half Marathon: A scenic 13.1-mile race starting at La Teinda Plaza Eldorado point-to-point through Old Las Vegas Highway and finishing at the Railyard, offering stunning views of Santa Fes historic landmarks. The race cutoff is 3:30 hours.
3-Amigos Relay: Team up with three friends or first responders to complete the half marathon as a team.
4K Run: A shorter, 2.48-mile course from the Railyard Community Garden to the park.
Kids Run: ages 3 to 14; A free, fun 1K activity for children of all agesjust walk in during the expo or on race day to register.
KIDS INDIGO T-SHIRT WORKSHOP WITH GASALI ADEYEMO:
Children ages 3 to 14 are invited to a free, hands-on indigo art workshop with renowned African artist Gasali Adeyemoa unique cultural activity blending creativity, tradition, and fun! Kids will learn about African indigo dyeing techniques and design their own custom race-themed T-shirt to take home. Supplies providedno experience needed!

3-Amigos Relay: Team up with three friends or fellow first responders to tackle the half marathon course together! Each runner will cover approximately 4.37 miles, and every team will carry a sash that is exchanged at the end of each leg. This adds an extra element of fun and camaraderie to the race, as teammates cheer each other on and pass the sash to symbolize their progress.
