Join us for the Santa Fe Ten Memorial Run in Remembrance on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, in the scenic Hitchcock, Galveston. This special event honors the ten lives lost on May 18, 2018, and proceeds will benefit the Santa Fe Ten Memorial, a future place of reflection for a community forever changed. Participants can choose to run or walk in a heartfelt 5K race, with medals awarded to the top three finishers in multiple male and female age categories, including 10-14, 15-19, 20-34, 35-49, 50-64, and 65+. For our younger runners, a Kids 1K race (ages 2-10) will also take place, along with awards for the champion dog walker, dual runner, and team categories.
The day promises to be filled with community spirit, featuring a live band, silent auction, delicious food trucks, and special treats for finishers. If you missed online registration, don’t worry! You can still join us on race day at 7:00 am—just let us know you’d like to register on-site. Come be a part of this uplifting event and help us remember

Run or walk as we REMEMBER THE TEN we lost on May 18, 2018. Proceeds benefit the Santa Fe Ten Memorial; a future place of introspection and reflection for a community forever impacted.
1st - 3rd place medals for 5K male and female age groups; 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 34, 35 - 49, 50 - 64, and 65+. We will also be awarding 1st - 3rd Kids 1K (ages 2 - 10), champion dog walker, champion dual runner and champion team categories. We will also have a live band, silent auction, treats for finishers, and food trucks.
Missed the online registration deadline? Join us at 7:00 am on May 17th and mention you would like to register same day. Some items may not be available, but we plan to have extra shirts and medals on-hand.
