Join us for the Santa Fe Ten Memorial Run in Remembrance on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Hitchcock, Galveston. This inspiring event honors the memory of the ten lives lost on May 18, 2018, and aims to bring the community together in reflection and remembrance. Participants can choose to run or walk, with race distances including a competitive 5K and a fun Kids 1K for ages 2 to 10.
The event features medals for the top three finishers in various male and female age groups for the 5K, as well as special awards for overall champions, kids, champion dog walkers, dual runners, and team categories. In addition to the races, enjoy live music, a silent auction, and delicious food from local food trucks. Even if you missed the online registration, you can still join us on race day at 7:00 am—just mention you’d like to register on-site! Come be a part of this heartfelt occasion, where every step taken helps create a future memorial for a community forever changed.

Run or walk as we REMEMBER THE TEN we lost on May 18, 2018. Proceeds benefit the Santa Fe Ten Memorial; a future place of introspection and reflection for a community forever impacted.
1st - 3rd place medals for 5K male and female age groups; 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 34, 35 - 49, 50 - 64, and 65+. 1st place overall male and female. We will also be awarding 1st - 3rd Kids 1K (ages 2 - 10), champion dog walker, champion dual runner and champion team categories. We will also have a music, silent auction, treats for finishers, and food trucks.
Missed the online registration deadline? Join us at 7:00 am on May 16th and mention you would like to register same day. Some items may not be available, but we plan to have extra shirts and medals on-hand.
