Join us for the Santa Fe Ten Memorial Run on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Hitchcock, Galveston, as we come together to honor the memory of those we lost on May 18, 2018. This uplifting event invites participants to run or walk in remembrance while supporting the Santa Fe Ten Memorial, a future sanctuary for reflection and introspection within our community.
With race distances including a 5K and a Kids 1K for ages 2-10, there are opportunities for everyone to participate. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in various age groups for the 5K, along with special categories for champion dog walkers, dual runners, and team competitions. Enjoy a day filled with music, tasty food from local food trucks, a silent auction, and delightful treats for finishers. If you missed online registration, don’t worry! Join us at 7:00 AM on race day to register on-site. Let’s come together to remember, reflect, and celebrate community spirit!

Run or walk as we REMEMBER THE TEN we lost on May 18, 2018. Proceeds benefit the Santa Fe Ten Memorial; a future place of introspection and reflection for a community forever impacted.
1st - 3rd place medals for 5K male and female age groups; 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 34, 35 - 49, 50 - 64, and 65+. We will also be awarding 1st - 3rd Kids 1K (ages 2 - 10), champion dog walker, champion dual runner and champion team categories. We will also have a music, silent auction, treats for finishers, and food trucks.
Missed the online registration deadline? Join us at 7:00 am on May 16th and mention you would like to register same day. Some items may not be available, but we plan to have extra shirts and medals on-hand.
