Get ready for an exhilarating adventure at the SAO Team Scavenger Hunt 10K-ish, taking place on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the scenic Aurora, Kane! This unique event invites participants to sign up as individuals or as teams of four, providing a fantastic opportunity for both competitive spirits and social butterflies alike. With a course that spans approximately 6 miles, participants will embark on a thrilling scavenger hunt, armed with a map leading them to five hidden stashes throughout the beautiful Forest Preserve.
Each team must retrieve their items—ranging from 40 to 150 pounds—bringing them back to the top of the hill, and the first team to do so will claim victory! With a participant cap of 40 folks, including 10 teams of four, space is limited, so be sure to secure your spot soon. After the race, unwind with fellow scavengers at a festive BBQ and firepit gathering. Whether you choose to run “naked” or with a burden, this event promises fun, camaraderie, and a memorable day outdoors!

Due to several people wanting to sign up as an individual and be placed on a Team we have changed to individual sign up. $50 per person / $200 for a team.
Space still limited to 40 people so your team should all sign up asap.

There's a map & there's you :) It could be 6 miles. It could be a marathon :)

Mileage = 6 miles ish
50% will be naked running / 50 % will be burden running
Participant Cap 10 teams of 4 scavengers
Layout : Each Team will be given a map of the Forest Preserve showing where the 5 stashes are.
Each stash will be ???? miles away.
All Team members will need to find the stash and all team members must bring it back to the top of the hill (1 object at a time).
Teams can retrieve the stashes in any order they want.
Stashes will weigh anywhere from 40 lbs to 150lbs.
1st team with all items at the top of hill wins.
Yes you can have more than four on your team, but to podium it must be a Team of 4. Sex doesn't matter. IE 4 men, 4 Women or 2 &2. Your call.
