CHIPPED 5K - BENEFITING SAWYERS RACE FOR RESEARCH
In 2021, Sawyer Burch was diagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder called TFP (Trifunctional Protein Deficiency), which affects the bodys ability to produce energy at the cellular level. Symptoms can be life-threatening, often requiring frequent hospital stays and posing serious risks.
Sawyers family has made it their mission to raise awareness and support research for TFP and similar metabolic disorders. Thanks to the generosity of our community, over $300,000 has already been raised!
Now its your turn to help! 100% of proceeds go directly to TFP research at UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh.
