This inspiring gathering honors the legacy of Joseph and Kenneth Sayles, two brothers whose lives were tragically cut short. The event aims to raise awareness and support for those affected by heart disease and childhood cancer. Participants can choose between a fun 1K (0.62 miles) and a more challenging 5K (3.2 miles) race, both starting at 9:10 AM. With packet pick-up beginning at 8:30 AM at Generation Park, 250 Assay St., attendees will also enjoy food, beverages, vendors, and karaoke throughout the day.

Organiser's Description
THE SAYLES & SAYLES FOUNDATION WAS FOUNDED IN 2017, IN HONOR OF OUR TWO SONS, JOSEPH & KENNETH SAYLES. BOTH BROTHERS PASSED AWAY 5 WEEKS A PART. AT THE AGE OF 40, JOSEPH PASSED AWAY OF A HEART ATTACK AND AT THE AGE OF 17, KENNETH PASSED AWAY FROM GLIOBLASTOMA (BRAIN CANCER). WE ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY AND BEYOND THE WALLS OF OUR CITY. WE ARE HERE TO ENCOURAGE, EDUCATE AND SUPPORT THOSE EFFECTED WITH HEART DISEASE AND CHILDHOOD CANCER SUPPORTING THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.
