The 35th Annual Sea Girt 5K & Kids' Races, organized by SeaGirt5k, will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in the picturesque town of Sea Girt, Monmouth. This exciting event features a fun 5K run/walk along the scenic routes of Sea Girt, providing a great opportunity for runners and walkers of all ages to participate. The day kicks off with the main 5K race at 8:30 AM, where participants will enjoy chip timing, a custom t-shirt, and a medal upon completion.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Starting at 10:00 AM, kids can join in on the action with short sprints ranging from 25 to 400 yards, based on age group. These races are designed for fun and participation, featuring goody bags, t-shirts, and a variety of kids' activities including inflatables, pony rides, and face painting from 8:30 to 11:00 AM. Proceeds from this beloved community event will benefit the Sea Girt Recreation and the Jersey Shore Dream Center, which provides essential support to families in need.
