Get ready for a vibrant and exciting day at the Sea Splash Color Dash 5K and Kids 1K, happening on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Hueneme Beach in beautiful Port Hueneme, Ventura! This fun-filled event invites participants of all ages to join in on the colorful festivities. The 5K race kicks off at 9:00 AM, with registration priced at just $20 per runner, while the Kids 1K, designed for children ages 12 and under, starts at 10:30 AM for only $10.
Both races feature a thrilling "color run" theme, culminating in a fun fishline tunnel segment where participants can get splashed with color. Don’t worry if you prefer to skip the color—an alternative path is available! Every registered runner will receive a bib, a t-shirt, and a medal, and there will be awards for the top three finishers in various age categories for the 5K. After the races, stick around for a fantastic Health Wellness Fair, complete with educational booths, children's activities, and delicious healthy food options. With free parking available and the event happening rain or shine, it’s sure to be a memorable day for everyone

Organiser's Description
The City of Port Hueneme and the Port of Hueneme are partnering together through the Community Benefit Fund [https://www.ci.port-hueneme.ca.us/1416/Community-Benefit-Fund-City-Port] to host a SEA SPLASH COLOR DASH 5K AND KIDS 1K event which is set to occur on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Hueneme Beach. Participation in the 5K is $20 a runner with the race beginning at 9:00am sharp and the Kids 1K is $10 per child that will begin at 10:30am sharp. ALL REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A BIB, T-SHIRT, AND MEDAL. THERE WILL BE AN AWARDS CEREMONY FOR 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE WINNERS IN DIFFERENT AGE CATEGORIES IN THE 5K RACE ONLY.
KIDS 1K INFORMATION:
PLEASE NOTE, THAT THE KIDS 1K WILL NOT BE TIMED. Registration to participate as a runner closes on Friday, February 28th, or once we reach 600 participants for the 5K and 150 participants for the Kids 1K. The Kids 1K will open to ages 12 and under and MUST BE ACCOMPANIED TO THE VENUE by an adult but does not have to participate. Parents or guardians who wish to run alongside their child will be required to sign a waiver onsite and must check in to be issued a wristband. ONLY THE REGISTERED CHILD WILL RECEIVE A BIB, PARTICIPATION MEDAL, AND T-SHIRT.
Both races will feature a "color run" theme, with the "color" element represented by a final fishline tunnel segment in a designated zone along the competition route. Participation in the color run spray is optional, and an alternative competition path is available for those who prefer not to participate in the color segment.
THE FREE HEALTH WELLNESS FAIR following the conclusion of the race will be located in Parking Lot C; featuring health career educational booths, a childrens activity area, healthy food vendors, live entertainment, and much more.
PARKING: There will be free parking in lots A & B.
EVENT HOURS: 9:00am - 12:30pm
WEATHER: This is a rain or shine event! If it is a beautifully sunny California day, feel free to take a break in the food court area.
RESTROOMS: We will have bathroom trailers on site, including an ADA-accessible restroom.
FOOD: Healthy food trucks will be on-site offering food and drinks for purchase. This is a non-alcoholic event.
