THE BLESSINGS IN A BACKPACK CHICAGO CHAPTER PRESENTS THE SEVENTH ANNUAL "DO IT YOURSELF" 5K WALK/RUN!
Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals, and resources to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry. Chicago Blessings currently feeds 6,000 kids each weekend, however, there are over 150,000 food-insecure kids throughout Chicagoland.
The race is a Do It Yourself 5k run/walk done on your own time, at your own pace, and in your own place. You can participate any time between Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 15. THOSE WHO REGISTERED BY OCTOBER 9 WILL RECEIVE THEIR T-SHIRT PRIOR TO THE RACE. WE WILL SHIP SHIRTS AFTER THE RACE TO EVERYONE WHO REGISTERS AFTER OCTOBER 10.
Registration prices:
* $25 for student (under 23)
* $75 for adult (23 and over)
* $175 for a family (up to five people in the same household)*
_*Family registrations should be made simultaneously to receive the registration discount. Shirts must be shipped to the same mailing address.
