This vibrant community event takes place at Mike Lewis Park, located at 2410 N Carrier Pkwy, and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. Kicking off at 9:00 AM with a warm welcome ceremony and stretching activity, the day features a 1-mile fun run/walk starting at 9:15 AM, followed by the main 5K run/walk at 9:30 AM.
The Teal & Tutus 5K is not just a race; it’s a powerful initiative aimed at raising awareness and education to lower the rates of sexual assault. With an entry fee of just $30 for adults, $15 for students, and $10 for kids 10 and under, your participation will directly benefit Speak Our Truth and local organizations dedicated to supporting survivors. After the race, enjoy a lively community celebration filled with activities for all. Don your teal tutus and join us in making a difference while having fun in the beautiful Grand Prairie setting!
