If you are looking for something to do on October 12th, stop looking. Come to Hillsboro IL and join us for a scenic 1 mile, 5K, or our Challenge race that offers the beauty of the lakes and the forest in the country. Feeling festive? Wear your Halloween costume to compete in and get your own bag of candy when you finish. This is all for fun and good for the family as well as those true racers. Then stay in town and enjoy the small-town experience with great food at some of our local hot spots and a great drink from our local breweries after the races.

CLOSEDThis scenic course takes you between two lakes and into the forest. The racecourse brings you right back to where you started, as you cross over the bridge twice take in the beauty of the lake view. There are people cheering you on in the forest, as you pass the campers wave hello. Run with a little style and wear your Halloween costume, just make sure it is not something that will get in the fellow runner's way or yours. Registration comes with 1 t-shirt and 1 free bag of candy! -
Family 5k
