The Shamrock Sprint is an annual St. Patrick’s Day–themed running event held in the heart of downtown Covington, Louisiana to raise money for brain cancer research.
The Shamrock Sprint combines fitness, community spirit, and charitable giving in one festive spring race. Race options include a One-Mile Fun Run, 5K, and Certified 10K by USATF and RRCA. The route is set along scenic routes through Covington’s charming neighborhoods and surrounding areas.
The Shamrock Sprint is a community celebration supporting Kelly Kicking Cancer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for brain cancer research in memory of Kelly C.
