Before the 5K, young runners can join the Rainbow Dash Kids Race at 4:15 PM, where they'll chase a leprechaun and finish with delightful treasures! The day promises not only a thrilling race but also a scavenger hunt, shopping, and dining opportunities throughout downtown. After crossing the finish line, head to Noble Street Park for the awards ceremony at 6:00 PM, followed by a fantastic Downtown After Dark concert at 7:00 PM. Bring your family, wear your most colorful gear, and get ready for an unforgettable day of community spirit and fun!

The Shamrockin 5K isnt just a race - its a full day of downtown fun leading into a spring Downtown After Dark concert in Noble Street Park.
Spend the afternoon shopping, dining, and exploring downtown during the Shamrockin Saturday Scavenger Hunt, then meet us at City Market for a high-energy color run through the historic district. After you cross the finish line covered in color, head toward Noble Street Park for awards at 6:00 PM and live music immediately following.
Rainbow Dash Kids Race - $15

Let the little ones chase the leprechaun to the pot of gold!
The Rainbow Dash is a short, safe kids route led by our bell-ringing leprechaun. Runners finish with gold coins, beads, and a kid-safe mini color toss... plus plenty of photo-worthy moments for proud parents and cheering crowds.

The route begins and ends at City Market and winds through Annistons historic district. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to assist with safety and navigation.
