Get ready for a fantastic day of fun and community support at the Shepherd's Run 2026! On Saturday, October 3rd, join us in Hickman, Lancaster for an exciting event that not only promotes fitness but also raises funds for the Norris Food Backpack Program & Food Pantry. Participants can choose from a 1-mile fun run for just $15 or a timed 5K run for $25, making it a perfect day for runners of all ages and skill levels.
The festivities kick off with registration from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills, followed by a charming hayrack ride to Stagecoach Lake. The race begins at 10:15 a.m., and don’t miss the adorable preschool "sheep run" earlier at 10:00 a.m. Every participant will leave with a prize, and after the race, enjoy a delicious BBQ, live music, pumpkin and craft sales, and even a petting zoo from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Join us for a day of fun, community spirit, and making a difference!

Sign up NOW for the 2026 Shepherd's Run! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3rd. This fundraiser supports our Norris Food Backpack Program & Food Pantry. Every week, many Norris students come home with a backpack filled with food to sustain their families. Would your business or employer be willing to sponsor this event? Cost for sponsorship is $100 which will put your business name on our t-shirts, Voice ads, and event banner.
Our goal is to get one hundred $100 sponsorships which will cover the expenses for the backpack program for the entire year!
