Shinzen Run/Walk

Get ready for a fantastic day of fitness and fun at the Shinzen Run/Walk, taking place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in beautiful Fresno! This beloved event, which has been a community favorite for over 35 years, supports the Shinzen Garden and honors the legacy of its founder, Ken Takeuchi. Participants can choose from a variety of distances, including a scenic 5K and a challenging 10-mile run, making it perfect for runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels.

All participants will be treated to a finisher medal, a stylish T-shirt, and a delicious pancake breakfast, along with free entry to the stunning Shinzen Garden. Age group awards will be given for categories ranging from 6-9 to 70 and up, with a special Bonzai plant kit awarded to the top male and female finishers in each age group for both the 5K and 10-mile events.
