This vibrant community event is designed not only to promote fitness and fun but also to raise vital funds for Project Seek's Sickle Cell Program, which provides essential support, resources, and social activities for individuals and families living with sickle cell disease.
The race kicks off at the downtown airport, with a Fun Run starting at 3:45 PM, followed by the 5K at 4:00 PM. Participants can register for the Fun Run for just $10 (ages 10 and under) or the 5K for $25. There's even an option to sign up as a Co-Pilot for $20, allowing supporters to contribute without running. Don't miss out on the chance to snag an official event T-shirt by registering by September 15th! Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as to the top finishers in various age groups. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT BENEFIT PROJECT SEEK SICKLE CELL PROGRAM AND INITIATIVES. PROVIDING COMMUNITY SUPPORT, RESOURCES AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES LIVING WITH SICKLE CELL DISEASE.
