Get ready to kick off the New Year with excitement at the "Out With the Old - In With the New" event happening from December 31, 2025, to January 1, 2026, in Rochester, Oakland! This two-day celebration features a fun and invigorating 5K run/walk course that perfectly blends rail trails and dirt paths through the stunning Bloomer Park. Join fellow participants on this mostly flat course as you take on the challenge of running one day or both, with the unique twist of switching directions to keep things fresh and exhilarating.
The event will take place at the Rochester Avon Recreation Authority (RARA) Building, with registration and check-in starting at 7:45 AM each day. Races will commence at 9:30 AM, and all participants will receive a unique finisher medal for each day, with special medals designed to fit together for those who conquer both days! Enjoy light snacks and refreshing water, as well as delicious waffles and mimosas on New Year’s Day to celebrate your achievements. Plus, don’t forget to bring an old race shirt for the world-famous T-shirt trade, helping to recycle those forgotten items in your closet. This fun-filled event supports the Neighborhood House,
