Join us for the 6th Annual Sickle Cell Warrior Walk & Run 5K on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in beautiful Hartman Park, Nashville, Davidson! This uplifting event aims to raise awareness about sickle cell disease, a genetic blood disorder that affects many, particularly within minority communities. The day kicks off at 9 AM with the 5K race, followed by a 1 Mile fun run at 9:05 AM, making it a perfect opportunity for families and individuals of all ages to come together for a great cause. Participants will have until 10 AM to complete the course, after which everyone is invited to enjoy a lively Post Race party featuring refreshments and an awards ceremony at 10:15 AM.

Breaking The Sickle Cell Cycle Foundation, Inc. cordially invites you to the 6th Annual Sickle Cell Warrior Walk/Run 5K! The Sickle Cell Warrior Walk/Run 5K is an inspiring, family-friendly event to unite the Nashville community and surrounding areas in bringing awareness to sickle cell disease and to create long-lasting relationships to help support members of the sickle cell community. Sickle cell disease is a painful genetic blood disorder that is known to disproportionately impact minority populations, but any person can have sickle cell disease or carry the trait that is responsible for causing the disease. The goal of this event is to increase community awareness of sickle cell disease and empower individuals to make informed healthcare and family planning decisions.
The race will be held on SEPTEMBER 26, 2026 at the beautiful Hartman Park. 5K participants will begin the race at 9 AM, followed by the 1 Mile at 9:05 AM.
All participants must complete the course by 10:00 AM.
Hang out and celebrate with us at the Post Race party where we'll have refreshments while we cheer and then our awards ceremony at 10:15 AM
Commemorative race medal & T-shirt are available for paid registrants who sign up by August 6th, 2025.
