Runners can complete the race anytime between July 14th and July 16th, with finish times submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on the final day. Pre-registered participants will receive a special one-of-a-kind snake drawing created by a 4-H member, and awards will be given based on performance. With a registration fee of just $10.44, this is an amazing opportunity to engage in outdoor activity and contribute to a great cause. CLOVER GLOVE RACE SERIES - ALL PROCEEDS SUPPORT 4-H.
Each year, tens of thousands of students learn about snakes as part of 4-H Environmental Education at Georgia 4-H Centers each year. Clover Glove celebrates as many holidays as possible. Snake Day is on our annual list. We considered offering a 5K. A five looks somewhat like a snake. However, acknowledging that some of us are getting rather old and July tends to be a bit hot in Georgia, we will run a 2.2-mile race.
WHEN: Run the 2.2 mile July 14-16. Send finish times on Run Sign Up or cloverglove.com/races no later than 11:59 p.m. on 7/16. Be careful to not step on snakes.
AWARDS: Pre-registered participants will receive a one of a kind snake drawing by a 4-Her mailed (or hand delivered) as soon as practical. Black Bag and [http://blackbagraceseries.com] Clover Glove [http://cloverglove.com]Runner Points will be awarded.
