Join us for the 2nd Annual Soles Walking 4 Souls event on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in San Antonio, Bexar, at Brook's City-Base at The Greenline. This uplifting walk is dedicated to raising awareness about fentanyl, commemorating the new bill signed by Governor Abbott that designates October as Fentanyl Awareness Month. The event kicks off at 4:30 p.m., followed by a heartfelt candlelight vigil. Participants can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with food trucks, live music, and vendor tables while connecting with the community.
For just $25, you can participate in the walk, which includes a race t-shirt, a stylish drawstring backpack featuring our logo, and a commemorative wristband. While seating will be provided, it's a great idea to bring your own chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the festivities after the walk. Come together to support this important cause and make a difference in the community!

Organiser's Description
This walk was started to commemorate the new bill signed by Governor Abbott designating October as Fentanyl Awareness Month. Our 2nd Annual Walk will be held at the same location as last year's walk, Brook's City-Base at The Greenline on October 13th at 4:30 p.m. Candlelight vigil will follow the walk.
We will have food trucks, live music, vendor tables, speakers, and much more. It's free to attend the event but if you want to participate in the walk, there is a $25.00 fee. The fee will cover your entry fee, race t-shirt, a lovely drawstring backpack with our logo, and a wristband.
There will be tables and chairs but seating will be limited. You are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to sit and enjoy the music and eat after the walk.
If you are a sponsor of our event and are forming a team, please select Fentanyl Awareness Walk for Sponsors. All members of your team need to create an account and sign the waiver form through Runsignup.
All others, please select Fentanyl Awareness Walk, individuals can still form and join teams.
