Pontiac is a powerful connection point with Enric Casacuberta, who is running the entire Illinois stretch of Route66 solo to honor those living with ALS. At each event, participants join Enric for a 2.1mile shared Sidekick segment a symbolic reminder that hes not taking this journey alone. Pontiac is one of those special meetup towns where community and purpose collide on the pavement.

With its murals, museums, and iconic Route66 landmarks, Pontiac offers a vibrant backdrop for a run rooted in solidarity.
