This festive Thanksgiving event features a variety of race distances to suit all ages and abilities, including a Free Turkey Dash Kids Run for those 8 and under at 8:00 AM, an 8 Mile Run at 8:15 AM, a 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 AM, and a fun 2 Mile Family Run/Walk starting at 8:40 AM.
Not only will you enjoy a lively day of running, but you will also have the opportunity to give back to the community through a food drive for the SOU food bank. A portion of the proceeds will support the SOR Student Runners Programs, which provide essential resources for young athletes. With family pricing available and youth 18 and under running for free, this event is perfect for families gathering together for the holidays. Organiser's Description
Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include Shoes for Kids (provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes), KidsRunFree (provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under), and XC Project (provides timing support for schools during cross country season).

Family Pricing available for this event, this is for families and families with extended family in town for the holidays, only.

Packet Pick Up and Registration - November 26th from 3:30-8pm at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon 97540. Packet pick up is also available from 7-8am on the day of the race. NO DAY OF REGISTRATION will be offered.
Participants will receive a custom race bib and finishers medal. No age group awards.
NO DOGS, BIKES, SKATEBOARDS OR SKATES PERMITTED.
*RACES ARE ON PUBLIC ROADS AND TRAILS THAT ARE NOT CLOSED TO CARS, PEDESTRIAN OR CYCLIST. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHILE ON PUBLIC ROADWAYS AND PATHS.
