Participants can choose from several exciting race distances: an 8 Mile Run at 8:15 AM, a 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 AM, and a 2 Mile Family Run/Walk at 8:40 AM. Plus, there’s a special Free Turkey Dash Kids Run for children 8 and under at 8:00 AM!
The event takes place at Cummins, located at 300 W Valley View Rd, Talent, Oregon. Pre-race packet pick-up will be available on November 26th from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, with additional pick-up on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Organiser's Description
Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include Shoes for Kids (provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes), KidsRunFree (provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under), and XC Project (provides timing support for schools during cross country season).
