Participants will enjoy a scenic route winding through the beautiful, tree-lined Railside Community and along Kent Trails before crossing the finish line.
Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun and support the SpartanNash YMCA. For those unable to attend in person, a Virtual 5K option allows you to participate from anywhere. Don't forget to register early to secure your t-shirt—registrations after July 1 cannot be guaranteed a shirt. Online registration will remain open until the race starts, so make sure to sign up from home or on your phone before arriving. Following the race, the community parade at 10 AM promises more excitement as part of the vibrant Byron Days Festival. Welcome to SpartanNash YMCA Byron Days 5K Run/Walk in Byron Center. The Byron Days 5K has been a signature event of the Bryon Days Festival since 2005. The 5K will start at 8am on Byron Center Avenue just north of Sherwood and Byron Center intersection and wind through the tree-lined Railside Community to Kent Trails before returning to the finish line. Whether you are a runner or an occasional walker, we'd love to see you at the start line! There is also a Virtual 5K Run/Walk if you can't be there race day but want to support the SpartanNash YMCA.
