Event summary
For our youngest participants, the Small Fry Tri offers a delightful non-competitive atmosphere for kids aged 2 to 5. They will enjoy sliding down the splash park water slide, riding on their favorite wheels, and dashing through the big finish line. Join us for a day filled with energy, camaraderie, and the joy of movement as we celebrate the spirit of youth sports at the Sportsplex Triathlon for Kids!
Organiser's Description
Were excited to celebrate 15 years of getting kids moving, challenging themselves, and having fun!
The SPORTSPLEX TRI FOR KIDS is a USAT-sanctioned triathlon for ages 515, featuring age-appropriate swim, bike, and run distances. Athletes compete in the age group they are in as of December 31, 2027. A USAT membership is required, and a one-day membership can be purchased during registration.
The SMALL FRY TRI: A fun, non-competitive event for our littlest athletes, ages 25. Theyll slide down the splash park water slide, ride whatever they choose, and finish with a run through the big finish line!

Whether its their first race or theyre returning for another year, we cant wait to welcome your young athlete to the Sportsplex Tri for Kids!

Designed for our littlest athletes, this is a non-competitive event with no pressurejust plenty of excitement and encouragement. Little racers will slide down the splash park water slide, ride whatever they choosea Big Wheel, scooter, bike, or anything with wheelsand finish with a run through the big finish line! Parents, family, and friends are encouraged to cheer them on and help along the way. Its a fun-filled introduction to the excitement of a triathlon and a great way to celebrate our youngest participants!
