Get ready for an exhilarating day of mountain biking at the 4th Annual Sprocket Fuel MTB Race on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, in New Hill, Wake! This exciting event invites riders of all skill levels to tackle the incredible trails at Harris Lake, known for their smooth, twisty, and flowing single-track. Participants can choose from a variety of 32 skill and age-based classes during registration, with racers completing between 1 to 3 laps, covering a total distance of 3.5 to 22.5 miles, depending on their class. For those in the Adapted Class, a beginner loop of 1 mile awaits, allowing competitors on recumbent trikes or handcycles to join in on the fun! Organiser's Description

The 4th Annual Sprocket Fuel MTB Race returns this August to challenge mountain bikers of all ability levels on the AWESOME trails at Harris Lake. Get your game face on and race on some of the best single-track in the Triangle Area!



During registration, choose from 32 skill and age-based classes. Depending on class, racers will start in waves and complete 1-3 laps (3.5-22.5 total miles) on a course that includes smooth, twisty, and flowing single-track trails. Adapted Class competitors will complete a 1 mile course (beginner loop) using a recumbent trick or handcycle that is either Class 1 E-assist or Non E-assist.
