Get ready to kick off your St. Patrick's Day celebration with the 9th Annual St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase & Children's Wee Chase on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the vibrant city of Holland, Ottawa! This exciting event features a fun-filled 5K race and a quarter-mile Wee Chase designed especially for children ages 4-8. The festivities will begin at the Holland Civic Center, with the Wee Chase starting at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:00 AM. Participants are encouraged to don their finest green attire and Irish costumes to add to the festive atmosphere!
As a fundraising event, the St. Paddy's Leprechaun Chase supports the West Michigan Chapter of myTEAM TRIUMPH, which is dedicated to providing road racing experiences for individuals with disabilities. All participants will receive a commemorative shirt, and finisher medals will be awarded to the top three in each age group. Plus, enjoy delicious snacks such as hot chocolate, coffee, and donuts after the race! Don't forget to explore the Holland Farmers Market, open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on race day, to make the most of your St. Patrick

This is a fundraising event hosted by the Holland Running Club (HRC) [https://www.hollandrunningclub.org/] with proceeds benefiting the West Michigan Chapter of myTEAM TRIUMPH [https://mttwestmichigan.org/], an organization that is dedicated to providing the experience of road racing to individuals with disabilities.
THE WEE CHASE STARTS FROM THE CIVIC CENTER AT 8:30 AM. Children ages 4-8 years old are encouraged to participate. This course will be a quarter mile course around the Holland Civic Center. Registration is free, but parents of the little lads and lasses must sign them up ahead of time.
THE 5K STARTS FROM THE CIVIC CENTER AT 9:00 AM. Finisher and age group medals (top 3) will be awarded. All participants will receive a shirt, unless opting out. Snacks will also be served at the Holland Civic Center when runners finish (hot chocolate, coffee, water, and donut holes).
