Join the Getting Miles Athletic Club for the St Practice Day Fun Run on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at Lawton Park in Fort Wayne, Allen. Put on your best kilt, tutu, or green shirt and get ready to walk, run, or roll in this festive 5K event. This free, untimed fun run is open to everyone and will take place on the Fort Wayne Trails network. Follow the bicycle lead on the marked route, starting at 1:00 PM. Fast runners and fancy dressers have a chance to win fun trophies. Use your fitness app or wearable to track your time and share your adventure on social media. COME OUT TO LAWTON PARK ON SUNDAY, MARCH 9TH IN YOUR FINEST KILT, FANCIEST TUTU OR JUST A GREEN SHIRT AND BE READY TO RUN, OR WALK, OR ROLL A FESTIVE 5K.
THE EVENT IS A FREE UN-TIMED FUN RUN OPEN TO ANYBODY WHO WANTS TO PARTICIPATE.
Bring a comfortable pair of shoes and be prepared to walk, run or roll a few miles on the Fort Wayne Trails network.
We will follow a bicycle lead on the route launching from Lawton Park.
The route will be clearly and marked.
The event wont have a police presence so be sure to follow traffic laws at road crossings!.
FUN TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED FOR FAST RUNNERS AND FANCY DRESSERS!
USE YOUR SMART PHONE FITNESS APP OR FITNESS WEARABLE TO TRACK YOUR TIME AND THEN SHARE YOUR ADVENTURE ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
