Join us for the fourth annual St. Stephen's Armenian Elementary School (SSAES) 5k Fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the vibrant community of Watertown, Middlesex! Organized by the passionate Dina Apovian, this exciting event supports SSAES, a beloved private bilingual school that has been nurturing young minds since 1986. Participants can look forward to a scenic 5k course that kicks off and concludes on Artsakh St. in front of the St. Stephens Armenian Apostolic Church, with official timing provided by Second Wind Race Timing.
This family-friendly event welcomes both runners and walkers of all ages, and there will be plenty of entertainment for the kids after the race! Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the fastest runners by age group and the best team. Registration opens at 7:30 AM, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this wonderful tradition while supporting the diverse curriculum that serves over 160 students in the Boston area. Welcome to the fourth annual SSAES 5k to support St. Stephens Armenian Elementary School [https://ssaes.org] (SSAES), a private, bilingual school serving students from preschool through grade 5 in Watertown MA. Founded in 1986, SSAES currently serves 160 students from more than 15 zip codes in the Boston area, providing a curriculum that is a unique blend of the arts, humanities, STEM, Armenian studies, and experiential learning.
