Walk, run, or dance 3 miles to fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma. Join Sandi's Sunshine Squad as we step out to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of WNY. All money raised will stay in WNY to help people within our community.
You can complete your 3 miles in 1, 2, or 3 days! Walk/run/dance alone, with a friend, or with a group! You choose the days you want to walk/run/dance that fits YOUR schedule, the weather, or your health. This gives you the flexibility to do it the best time for you.
To participate:

2. Join the 5k on Runsignup.com to get your bib
3. Complete your 3 miles and post a smiling self to our Facebook events page
DO ALL THIS AND YOU ARE ENTERED TO THE 5K AND YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES!!!
If you invite a friend to join our 5k, that gives you an extra entry to win for each friend you get to join us.
Prizes will be drawn on Facebook live on Monday April 1st. Winners will be notified via Facebook so please be sure you are signed up for the event on Facebook as well.
Sign up begins on March 1st at 7am and continues through the start day of the 5k on March 29th at 7am.
The 5k will begin on Friday March 1st (as long as you're signed up) at 7am and will end on Sunday March 31st at midnight. You can choose the day/days you wish to walk/run/dance. As long as you get in your 3 miles at some point during March and post your selfie, that's all we care about.
An estimated 23,710 people in the United States lost their life to Leukemia last year and equally as devastating is that 21,080 people lost their life to Lymphoma. The money we raise will go directly to patients in the WNY area to help support these warriors and their families. Let's get together and step out to stop cancer.
