This inspiring 5K walk/run is organized by Jardine Elementary in support of our beloved Instructional Coach, Dr. Bridget Stegman, who is bravely facing ALS. Lace up your running shoes and hit the scenic neighborhood around Jardine Elementary while making a difference in the fight against this challenging disease.
The event kicks off at 8:30 AM, with check-in starting at 7:30 AM, so arrive early to get your event T-shirt—available for all registrants who sign up by April 18th. Over the past three years, "Steps for Stegman" has raised an incredible $15,124 for the ALS Association, Mid-America Chapter, showcasing the power of community spirit. Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation matters. Parking is available in the West and South lots, making it easy for everyone to join in on the fun. Organiser's Description
Jardine Elementary is hosting a 5K walk/run through the neighborhood in honor and support of our Instructional Coach, Dr. Bridget Stegman. She was diagnosed with ALS, and proceeds for the event will go toward the ALS Association, Mid-America Chapter [https://www.alsa-midamerica.org/]. We in 3 years we have raised $15,124 from Steps for Stegman.
The 5K will take participants through the neighborhood around Jardine Elementary. Parking is available in the West and South parking lots. The event will start on the East side of the building.
All registrants will receive an event T-shirt, if registration is completed by April 18th. If you are unable to participate in the race, but still want to contribute, please click the "Donate" button! If you would like to receive a t-shirt, you must register as a runner, even if you don't plan to run/walk.
