This uplifting walk/run not only marks a significant return to in-person events after five years but also shines a light on Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants will have the unique opportunity to run on the police car training track and navigate through the engaging law enforcement scenario village at the Department of Public Safety and Standards. Whether you choose to walk or run, your participation will support vital local organizations, including the Center for Hope & Safety and the Marion County Domestic Violence Council. Don’t forget to wear purple to show your solidarity and support for this important cause! Join us in making a difference in our community and help end domestic and sexual violence together!

JOIN US FOR OUR SHOW YOUR SUPPORT DURING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH IN ENDING DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY! PRIOR TO 2020, THIS WALK/RUN WAS A POPULAR ANNUAL EVENT AND IS RETURNING IN-PERSON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 5 YEARS!! JOIN US AT THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND STANDARDS (THE POLICE ACADEMY) AND GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO RUN ON OUR POLICE CAR TRAINING TRACK AND THROUGH OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT SCENARIO VILLAGE. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE CENTER FOR HOPE & SAFETY AND THE MARION COUNTY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNCIL. PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR PURPLE!
